There will be something for everyone at the How-To Festival – bring the whole family and all your friends! Learn new things, meet your neighbors, and have fun. All you’ll need is a plan for lunch – bring your own, visit the Farmer’s Market, or head downtown. The rest is on the library!

Don’t forget to pick up your door prize tickets at the Welcome Table!  We will draw winners at the Closing Ceremonies at 3 PM.  You do not need to be present to win.

How to use 'medical improv' to improve communication in healthcare

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Participants will practice fun, basic Medical Improv activities that build communication and interpersonal skills while learning about the critical need for effective communication among consumers, doctors, nurses, and others.  Everyone is welcome: healthcare providers and individuals!

Curious? Watch Beth teach local nurses and students how to deal with interruptions using improv principles:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGK9_CkhRNw.
