There will be something for everyone at the How-To Festival – bring the whole family and all your friends! Learn new things, meet your neighbors, and have fun. All you’ll need is a plan for lunch – bring your own, visit the Farmer’s Market, or head downtown. The rest is on the library!

Don’t forget to pick up your door prize tickets at the Welcome Table!  We will draw winners at the Closing Ceremonies at 3 PM.  You do not need to be present to win.

Attendance is limited to 10 and is FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT.  Please arrive early to secure your place.  Signing up for this session on sched.org will not secure your place. 

Merle will demonstrate the measuring, cutting and placement of plant materials in a container and participants will practice making their own arrangements.

Merle Schlesinger

Merle has been studying Sogetsu ikebana for 17 years. In that time she has had arrangements displayed at the Boston Spring Flower Show, Tower Hill Botanic Gardens and Chestnut Hill Mall. She teaches a workshop for Sogetsu as well as an adult class through Kittery adult education.
